In the Primeval Thaig, you find a red lyrium idol and golems. ![]() The former includes a statue similar to the Claws of Dumat, which you find in the Fade in Dragon Age: Inquisition. This thaig, and Heidrun Thaig, was built before the First Blight, and shared similar statuary. According to the wiki, it seems to predate the Magisters Sidereal entry to the Golden City, red lyrium (itself being infected Titan blood) being found in the Primeval Thaig. Let’s start with the Taint, or the Blight. This in turn of course leads deep into a lot of theorizing, and boy have I come up with a doozy. I’m in the middle of writing a fan fic on my Dalish Warden and her quest to find a cure for the Calling, so of course this means wandering deep, deep into Dragon Age lore, looking for clues and possible avenues to explore.
